In 2020, the Partnership began a study to analyze potential stream degradation in the Papillion Creek Watershed. The purpose of the study was to determine if the existing stream setback policy was adequate for addressing degradation rates we typically see in the area. The Partnership engaged Felsburg, Holt, & Ullevig to complete the study. Their technical memorandum and their recommended policy update can be viewed below.
The draft policy was presented at the Annual Sediment and Erosion Control Seminar. A copy of that presentation is below.
A meeting was held on February 25, 2021 to present the proposed policy and gather feedback. You can watch that meeting below. An additional meeting was held on March 17, 2021. Both PowerPoint presentations can be downloaded below.
