Since 2001, the Papillion Creek Watershed Partnership has worked together to tackle water quality and flooding concerns in the metro area. This year, they’re renewing their commitment for the 6th time. Their goal is to improve water quality and manage stormwater effectively in the watershed. By pooling expertise and resources, communities meet regulatory requirements for stormwater at low costs. In collaboration with the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District four flood control structures are complete, with three more underway, helping to reduce flood risk throughout the metro area. Continuing this partnership is crucial for regulatory compliance and community safety.
We invite you to join one of three virtual briefings to learn more about the Partnership and the upcoming agreement. Each session will have a short presentation and allow time for questions to be answered.
